Mark your calendars for a staged reading of Professor Faulkner Fox's new play All of Them Riding on Horses, directed by Amelia Lumpkin.


Readings + Talkbacks will be held at the Brody Theater on Duke's East Campus (5 Brodie Gym Dr, Durham, NC 27705). All shows, will be followed by a moderated talkback with the audience. Stay, if you like, and participate in a community conversation with the cast, director, and playwright.

Due to mature subject matter, the show is recommended for audience members who are 18+.

The show is FREE and open to the public (with an option to make a donation), however registration is required.

Play Synopsis: Two teenagers-a descendant of American enslavers and a recent immigrant from Kingston, Jamaica-find their way in Trump-era Richmond, Virginia. A story of friendship, kinship, and the power of activism and art, All of Them Riding on Horses highlights the protagonists' refusal to forget the past despite constant advice from their family members to do just that.
