This summer, a museum in Italy is displaying the results of a six-year archaeological excavation conducted by more than 20 Duke faculty and students. Dracine Hodges, associate university librarian for technical services, will serve as interim university librarian beginning May 15, when Deborah Jakubs will retire after nearly four decades of service to Duke. “I am delighted that Dracine will take on this role leading Duke University Libraries,” said Provost Sally Kornbluth. “I am confident she will provide thoughtful and effective leadership for the Libraries during this transition period as we conclude the search for our next university librarian.” read more about Dracine Hodges Appointed Interim University Librarian »
