Ben Moon-Black is a PhD student in classical studies. His interests coalesce around the literature of the later Roman empire and early Medieval period, particularly looking at how high imperial and Late Antique authors adopted and adapted earlier literary forms and ideas to fit their aesthetic and philosophical tastes. He was a graduate fellow affiliated with Manuscript Migration Lab for the Humanities Lab Course Development Fellowship in Summer 2023 and currently serves as a research assistant in the lab.
