In 2023, Humanities Unbounded began supporting the Duke-NCCU Digital Humanities Course Development Fellowship with long-time partner North Carolina Central University, a neighboring Historically Black College and Universitiy (HBCU). The program matches two Duke graduate students with two NCCU faculty over the summer term to develop courses for NCCU’s newly established Digital Humanities Minor. Graduate Assistants collaborate with faculty, either one-on-one or in a team, to create course modules, assignments, video tutorials, data sets, and other relevant materials.
