In December 2023, the History Hub launched the program “Check out a Historian!” which pairs historians with faculty teaching social science courses in Trinity College of Arts & Sciences, Sanford School of Public Policy, and Nicholas School of the Environment. By offering historians to consult or lead a class session, the program encourages greater integration of historical perspectives throughout Duke's undergraduate curriculum. In the program's initial cycle, the lab successfully paired historians with eight courses.
