Visiting Faculty Fellow

Garry Bertholf is a 2019-20 Visiting Faculty Fellow who will be hosted by Professor Joseph Winters of the Departments of Religious Studies and African and African American Studies.

In addition to Professor Winters, he hopes also to be able to collaborate with Professors Mark Anthony Neal and Thomas DeFrantz of the Department of African and African American Studies; Professors Tsitsi Jaji and Jarvis McInnis of the Department of English; Professor DeFrantz’s Black Performance Theory working group; the conveners of the Black Outdoors working group; the curators of the Global Blackness group; and the archivists at the John Hope Franklin Research Center for African and African American History and Culture.
