Gennifer Weisenfeld is the former Dean of the Humanities at Duke and served as the lead PI on Humanities Unbounded from 2018-2023. She was also a director of the Visualizing Cities Lab, based in the Department of Art, Art History & Visual Studies. Her research explores modern and contemporary Japanese art history, design, and visual culture.
