"Asia" in the Making of American Religiosity: A View from North Carolina, co-director
Leela Prasad's primary interests are the anthropology of ethics, with a focus on South Asia, Hindu worlds, gender, colonialism & decoloniality, prison pedagogy & Gandhi, and religion & modernity. Her work is at the intersections of religious studies, anthropology, history and literature. She is a director of the "Asia" in the Making of American Religiosity: A View from North Carolina lab.
